PROJECT SUMMARY:

BELNIC delivered the refresh of CHQ's Head to Health facility at Caboolture, completing targeted upgrades across the existing 306m2 tenancy within a three week construction programme.

The D+C project focused on adapting and upgrading the existing office and consulting spaces to meet CHQ's operational requirements. Works included refreshed consulting suites, upgraded staff kitchen, new joinery and finishes, a dedicated comms room and upgrades to the electrical and data infrastructure to meet CHQ ICT Standards.

Security was also a key consideration given the nature of the facility and its users, with an extensive security, access control, CCTV and duress system incorporated throughout.

A dedicated training and learning space was also created to support practical programs and activities for those accessing the service.

• Enhanced CCTV and security infastructure, access control, duress buttons and indicators throughout key areas

• Replacement floor coverings, including vinyl and patterned carpet tiles in the open plan play area to ensure the space was still child-friendly, but also remained low stimulant to suit young users of the facility
