PROJECT SUMMARY:

Design + construction of a new radiology practice including CT, 3T MRI, Ultrasound, X-Ray, Dental, BMD, Cardiac, EOS, administration & reporting facilities and a conference room. Specialty tenancies and future proofing for PET was also incorporated in the space.

PROJECT FEATURES:​​

• The original use of the warehouse was an ice-skating rink , so the slab was full of old copper heating pipes.

• Engineered reinforcement of the slab to allow for the weight of the MRI, PET and CT to be adequately supported

• Installation of structural steel overhead support system to cater for ceiling mounted Xray equipment

• Lead shielding installation & certification

• MRI Cage Installation & certification

• Full height wall mural to the inside of the CT room

• Feature timber battens to reception and conference rooms

• Feature ceiling LED lights to MRI

• BELNIC has won an award for professional excellence in project managing the design and construction of this project.
